Rear-wheel-drive vehicles are recommended (but not essential) for Skid Pan events.

 Vehicles must comply with a noise limit of 95dB at 30 metres.

 Drivers must be a minimum of 14 years of age, but are not required to hold a current driver’s licence.

 Passengers for Skid Pan events are permitted after the driver has done two sessions on the skid pan; instructors will also be on hand at the event to sit in the passengers’ seats of participants’ vehicles.

 Capped at a maximum of 16 cars, allowing all participants ample time on the skid pan.
