One Raceway & Fifth Gear Skid Pan

Learn anti-skid and advanced car control techniques

This event is jointly organised by One Raceway and Fifth Gear Motoring and takes place at One Raceway's 9,100 square meter concrete skidpan. Equipped with a built-in sprinkler system to maintain a wet track, the facility allows you to master vehicle control and sliding at safe, low speeds.

Important course Information

 

All enquiries, bookings, and cancellations must be directed to One Raceway.

 Rear-wheel-drive vehicles are recommended (but not essential) for Skid Pan events.

 Vehicles must comply with a noise limit of 95dB at 30 metres.

 Drivers must be a minimum of 14 years of age, but are not required to hold a current driver’s licence.

 Passengers for Skid Pan events are not permitted. Fifth Gear Motoring instructors will be on hand at the event to sit in the passengers’ seats of participants’ vehicles.

 Capped at a maximum of 16 cars, allowing all participants ample time on the skid pan.
