ACT Pre-Learner Licence Course

This course is conducted in person by our team facilitators across two consecutive days. Each day of the course runs for five hours, and the second day concludes with the course assessment and the road rules knowledge test.

To attend and complete this course you must be over the age of 14. To start driving with a learner license, you must be a minimum of 15 years and 9 months old. While enrolment and completion of this course can be done any time prior to this age, age requirements must be met before a licence will be issued by Access Canberra.

Here's the pathway to obtain your learner license:

• Enrol in our ACT Pre-Learner Licence Course. 
• Successfully finish the ACT Pre-Learner Licence Course.
• Successfully pass the Knowledge Test (with two free attempts included in your course enrolment). 
• After completion, gather your documents and visit Access Canberra to receive your learner licence.
